Gold Summit Institute has several types of classes and programs and several levels. It seems that most of our classes are equal in popularity, as we get a good response for all of them. But take a look below to see how you might use your class training to it's fullest potential. If you don't train with us, take a look on what taking one of these types of classes might do for you.
IRON FIST BOXING:
This class name belongs to Gold Summit and denotes our style of kickboxing and a small bit of Chinese style martial arts fused in. This class is primarily for fitness, BUT it's a great take on getting a good workout because it's interesting, the technique is real and useful, and the atmosphere welcomes all types. Either use this class on it's own to get in shape, build some stamina and strength and get more coordinated OR use it as a cross training tool with some of your other training.
QIGONG:
By itself, Qigong training will lengthen your life, nimble up your body a bit and help you to release negative energy. Even once per week, has yielded good results for our students and we've had many people training this way for years. If you do only train once per week, try to apply just one thing that you've learned each week into your lifestyle. You will make faster gains this way.
TAI CHI FUNDAMENTALS: If you train this one along with Qigong, so much the better! You get the internal balance, and you achieve physical strength, balance and healthy energy flow. With our style, you learn a lot of mental training and philosophical bits that you can apply to your life and training. It's the authentic way to train and whether you are free once or twice a week, or more-you will be surprised at your achievements. Take a little time after each class to reflect on the corrections or new things that you've learned. Before beginning your next class, do the same and try to bring it into the practice. This way, even if you don't practice outside of class, you'll have a better grasp on what you are learning.
Part 2 coming later this week!
